Aerial Armada

Tarifa sits at the very southern tip of Spain, and of continental Europe. Kitesurfers from around the world come here to ride the warm, strong Levante winds, which are accelerated by the Straits of Gibraltar. Africa, seen in the background, is only 14 kilometers away. What a fun picture… so happy! It will make a great picture for my dull office in a winter day!

Tarifa is a great place to visit. Cooler than the rest of Spain in the summer, and warmer in winter. The only thing is the wind…it never stops. Great for kitesurfing, but for living it might drive you a little loopy.
